About the Game

After discovering an old game at a yard sale, Warren Bees couldn't have imagined the consequences at stake. In this turn-based game, you will turn the tides of battle by using your own living room against your enemies. You will push, pull, and command your way to victory!

Inspired by classics such as XCOM and Command and Conquer, we aim to bring the strategy genre to a new audience by making an immersive experience that ties real life to your game. The team wanted to build connections between the player and their units, so each unit is unique in its own right with its own appearances, names, and skillsets!

Meet the Units

Doing the bulk of your work will be your units, so its best to be familiar with them!

First is the cannon fodder, the Grunt, a highly trained soldier capable of crossing the map quickly and giving short bursts of damage to pressure the enemy. Its mobility and short downtime allows them to pressure tanks more, but it is stopped dead in its tracks if caught in a sniper's scope.

Second is the Sniper, a lone wolf type prepared to do whatever he can to win the game. His methods may be unconventional, but his high damage and range and his low health make him a glass canon, so make sure he's in a good position!

Last is the powerhouse, appropriately named the Tank. He's a high-health, high-damage unit, capable of dishing out large hits if he is close to an enemy. Due to its high mobility, he can quickly close the distance on snipers, but don't wait around long enough for a grunt mob to overrun you.

How to Play

To play, you will push furniture around the room by walking into it, be careful to keep track of your stamina by pressing TAB! You can enter the computer by pressing E and using your mouse to control the screen. You can pick up objects around the room to cheat at the game and throw your enemy off, just make sure you don't become their new target!

The game is still a work in progress, made by a group of students from GCU. We hope you try our demo and enjoy the combat and our unusual take on the genre!
